Two minutes with a tape measure beats a guess and an exchange. Here's how to get it right the first time.

How to measure

Measure yourself, or lay a shirt you already like flat and measure that. The second is usually faster and more honest about how you actually want things to sit.

  • Chest — around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, tape level and not pulled tight.
  • Width — on a flat garment, straight across from armpit to armpit.
  • Length — from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.

Between two sizes? Size up for a relaxed fit, stay true to size for a closer one.

How each piece is cut

  • Staple tee — 4.2 oz combed ring-spun cotton, side-seamed, regular fit. True to size.
  • Oversized faded tee — 7.1 oz garment-dyed carded cotton, boxy with dropped shoulders. Already oversized, so take your normal size.
  • Premium sweatshirt — 8.5 oz tightly knit three-end fleece, side-seamed. Heavy, and it holds its shape. True to size.
  • Hoodie — cotton-face fleece, front pouch pocket, three-panel hood. True to size; size up if you layer.
  • Eco hoodie — 85% organic cotton with a brushed fleece inside, comfortable unisex fit.
  • Windbreaker — regular fit with elastic cuffs and hem. Leaves room for a mid-layer.
  • Racerback tank and sports bras — form-fitting. The sports bras are cut best for A–C cups.
